MacBeth

Romeo and Juliet

Brian returns to the directing side of things with Northwest Classical’s “MacBeth.” Starring Paul Angelo (who previously played the role off-Broadway) as the misguided Thane, NWCTC regular Allison Anderson as the wife who leads him astray, and Brian himself as MacDuffe, this production features a first folio text and expansive combat scenes in the intimate 30-seat Shoebox Theater. Not to be missed.

Breaking Legs

Brian heads back East to the Theater Barn in New Lebanon, NY - right on the base of the Berkshire mountains. The worlds of the Mafia and the theatre clash hilariously when a professorial playwright (Brian) seeks funding for his new play from the family of a former student. The "family" turns out to be minor Mafia godfathers who are willing to underwrite the play provided they never have to read it. When the lusty, unwed daughter of the house falls in love with the playwright, it only furthers his involvement with the Mob. In this madcap situation, murder and menace are served up with plenty of pasta and laughter.
